Additional notes
Formed after the initial demise of Godflesh, a fair amount of the lyrical matter deals with emotions brought up by the end of that band. The band is named after the last song on Godflesh's last studio album before initially breaking up, Hymns.
Jesu was a one-man band during the first EP, "Heart Ache", where Justin Broadrick played and programmed everything. Jesu became a full band by the self-titled release.
