중딩인지 초딩언제쯤일 듯한데, 줄무늬 메틀밴드가 한국의 공중파 TV에서 To hell with devil을 외치는 걸 보고 어린 마음에도 한참 넋이 나갔던 기억이 지금도 또렷하다. 이미 그때 소년은 메틀수혈을 받고 있었는지도 모른다.

데뷔작에 비해 월등히 강력해진 베이스라인과 멜로디로 무장하고 등판. 애끓는 하모니와 발라드까지 장착했으니 한국시장은 일단 삼킬 준비가 된 작품. 개인적으론 이후 앨범보다도 손이 자주 갔던 앨범인데 오랜만에 들어도 '역시'다.

80년대초의 하울링과 징징징 가득한 사운드지만 원래 이 시기는 그 맛으로 듣는 재미가 있다. 음악적으로도 데뷔EP치고는 '스트라이퍼'만의 틀은 이미 완성단계에 있는 듯 이후작과도 큰 위화감이 없다. 나름 즐음했던 앨범.
