음악이 뭔가 단조롭다. 정규 앨범들에 비해 짧아서 덜 지루한 게 장점. 보컬이 중저음에선 괜찮은데 고음에서 힘이 딸리는 것 같다.

이들이 주목받은 이유인 '초기 Blind Guardian 같은 느낌'을 조금 지우면서 변화를 시도해본 듯한 앨범. 아쉬운 점이 있기는 하지만(대부분의 곡들이 불필요하게 긴 느낌을 준다) 1집보다 덜 지루해진 것만으로 만족한다. '빠르고 서사적인 올드 스쿨 파워 메탈', '에픽 스피드 메탈'이라는 초심을 잃지 않으면서 계속 발전해 나가길.

90년대 초반까지의 Blind Guardian을 연상시키는 것으로 나름 주목받은 밴드...이지만 개인적으론 악기 톤이나 보컬만 그렇게 들리는 게 아닌가 싶을 때가 있었다. BG를 생각나게 해 주는 것도 좋고 녹음/믹싱 상태 또한 밴드 자체 발매라는 게 믿기지 않을 만큼 훌륭하나 특출난 모습이 안 보이며 미들 템포 곡이 많고 앨범이 불필요하게 긴 게 단점.

삶의 의미란 무엇인가에 대한 답을 찾으려다 광기에 사로잡힌 정신병자를 주인공으로 한 컨셉 앨범. 보컬의 역량과 효과음의 활용이 매우 인상적임. 개인적으로는 3번 트랙을 좋게 들었다.

지금처럼 100점 향연이 펼쳐질 만큼의 명반은 절대 아니다. 배경음악으로 두기에 괜찮긴 하지만(이거 딱히 좋은 말 아님.) 굉장하다는 느낌은 없고 곡들간 연결이 어색함. + 최대한 좋게 평가해주려고 했는데 안 되겠다. 40점으로 수정함.

이 밴드의 이전 앨범을 들어본 적이 없어서 기대치를 최대한 낮춘 채로 들어봤는데... 1번 트랙에서부터 왜 평이 좋은지 알 것 같았다.

대체로 무난하지만 중간에 끔찍하다 싶은 커버(10, 14, 15)가 있어서 5점 감점. 개인적으로 주목할 만하다고 생각한 커버는 Stream of Passion의 I Have a Right 커버와 Xandria의 Don't Say a Word 커버. 후자는 가사를 아예 바꾼 듯하다.

토니 카코의 솔로 1집이자 컨셉 앨범. Unia 및 TDoG를 좋아한다면 자연스럽게 좋아하게 될 법한 앨범이지만 둘을 싫어한다면 극혐할 수밖에 없을 듯. 파워 메탈과는 거리가 멀다.
