Bruce Dickinson vydal po 19 ročnej pauze novinku "The Mandrake Project", pričom spolutvorcom albumu bol rovnako ako pri predošlých troch radovkách Roy Z. Po viac násobnom vypočutí albumu vidím najväčší problém v nepodarenom (málo vyváženom) zvuku. Niektoré nástroje sú málo čitateľné (počuteľné), niektoré sú až príliš v pozadí a spev je naopak príliš v popredí. Album malo mať tvrdší (gitarovejší), no predovšetkým podarenejší a čistejší zvuk. Neviem, kde sa stala chyba, veď predošlé albumy s Roy Z za mixážnym pultom boli podarené. Na druhej strane, po hudobnej stránke je to podarené album s kvalitnými nápadmi. Taktiež Bruce -ov spev je stále na vysokej úrovni a samozrejme je ľahko poznateľný. Ako celok je album podarené, ale nie až tak, ako predošlé radovky.

Bruce Dickinson again offers his excellent voice with the support of quality metal music, but compared to the previous albums with Roy Z, the new album seems to me to be a little less convincing, but still good.

If you're expecting something like acciden and chemical wedding you'll be disappointed, but it's a great album.
