Good song and beautiful single But it wasn't quite up to par The song is characterized by melodic riffs and John Petrucci's playing was as required and frankly beautiful The thing I liked the most about the singular is James LaBrie's singing He was very good at singing Mike's performance is good with drumming and also Jordan was a little bit good And Jun Myung is doing well But the singular lacks things, including the metalcore song and trying to make their level like the Images and words album and metropolis as well. The lyrics of the invisible beast were good and I really liked it I loved their attempt to bring their level back to the level of the Images album or Awake, but I hope that the upcoming songs on this album will be at an imaginary level and that they will do their best in their next album. Anyway, the song is all good and I can't wait to hear the full album

10집으로 치면 A Rite of Passage, 11집으로 치면 Build Me Up, Break Me Down 같은 곡... 필러 트랙이란 의미다.

DT의 전반기 발라드풍 향수를 불러일으키는 곡이라고 할 수 있겠으나 특별한 느낌을 주지 못하는 싱글. 이전 싱글인 The Alien으로 살짝 올라간 기대감이 살짝 내려앉았다. 발라드풍 싱글말고 8현 곡을 냈으면 어땠을까 하는 약간의 아쉬움이 남는다.

개인적으로 생각하는 전성기(5~8집)을 생각하면 다소 아쉬운 부분이 없지 않지만, 데뷔한지 30년이 넘은 밴드인 것을 생각하면 그래도 나쁘지 않다고 생각한다.

한번 듣고도 흥얼거릴 수 있을 정도로 쉬운 멜로디임에도 불구하고 진부하지 않다. 큰 기교없는 절제된 연주임에도 화려함이 느껴진다. 이 정도의 곡이 앨범의 분위기를 숨기기 위한 연막전이라 생각하면 등에 소름이 돋는다.

DT의 이전 곡들과 비교하면 그냥 평범한 수준의 곡이다. 딱히 어느 부분이 좋다라고 말하기 어려운 적당히 DT의 향이 풍기는 곡인데 이전에 공개된 The Alien 이 더 좋다고 느낀다.

쉬어가는 트랙이라는 밴드의 의도를 감안하지 않더라도 충분히 괜찮은 곡이다. 게다가 가사도 상당히 와닿는다. 정신적인 불안이나 공포를 겪는 이들을 위로하려는 듯한 느낌의 곡이다.

처음에 들었을때는 아;; 요번 앨범도 글렀네 라고 생각했는데 몇번 청취하니깐 멋진 멜로디와 담백한 연주가 귀에 들어온다 앨범 으로 들으면 더 좋을것 같다

처음에는 좀 평이하다고 느껴졌지만 들을수록 좋고 오히려 첫 싱글인 The Alien보다도 좋게 들리기도 한다. 멜로디가 너무 캐치하고 멋있다. 비장미..! 더 말할것이 생각나지 않을만큼 곡 구성은 별다르게 복잡할게 없지만, 그러면서도 곡이 좋다. 음악으로써 이렇다면 진짜 '노래' 자체로 정말 좋다는 뜻이 아닐까?
