Near my brothers, protecting from the light,
I contemplate the seasons which going by,
Strip me naked and strengthen my bark,
Ever thicker, fed by heavenly life and earthly death.

I contemplate the rotting bodies like dust flesh,
Letting appear these bare bones,
Polished by time, pearled by vermin,
Joining his brothers of fate, in the unknown and oblivion.

I sink into the earth, into the depths of time,
Digging through the ages like a slow disease draining all energies.
My roots sink in search of life,

Feeding me by the past I rise to the heavens,

From this mineral food to the astral body,
I seek to dominate and thus to protect.

My millennial life makes me the guardian of the ages,

I feel their step treading the gournd where my roots go to earth.

Wahtever happens, I can't fee my extremities,
I see my limbs falling, the pain... What is happening to me?
An evil is eating away at me from the inside and destroying me...
Who an destroy all these years of labor in such a short time...

Who manages to grant me so much suffering...
What disease can be so cruel? Does the devil exist?

I feel it... It's on me...
No! They are upon me... So small and fragile...
