Morten이 Tristania를 탈퇴하여 만든 밴드. 이때는 실상 원맨밴드에 가까웠다.
결성 후 첫 앨범이라 그런지 Tristania 시절의 짙은 향취가 느껴진다. Tristania의 Beyond the Veil앨범 같은 분위기를 좋아한다면 강추하고 싶은 앨범. 다만 Tristania때보다 조금 더 밝아진 면이 있다. Morten이 탈퇴한 이유를 알 길은 없으나 Morten탈퇴 후의 Tristania가 점점 어두워 지는 점, Sirenia는 반대로 점점 밝아지는 점을 볼 때(특히 최근의 Nine Destinies And A Downfall은 거의 New Wave Gothic에 가까운 음색을 들려주고 있다) 그 이유는 충분히 유추가 가능하지 않나 싶다. Morten식의 고딕을 사랑한다면 산 뒤에 결코 후회하지 않을 앨범.
