전작이 많이 별로였는데 다시 호쾌하게 달리는 파워울프만의 박력을 회복했다. 발라드넘버 이후 몰아치는 후반부 트랙들이 상당히 퀄리티가 높으며 동명 타이틀 트랙은 디스코그래피를 통틀어도 손에 꼽힐만큼 명곡이다. 다만 최애앨범인 Blessed&Possessed의 Armata Strigoi같은 강력한 한 방이 없는 게 아쉽다.

전형적인 파워울프스러운 앨범이다. 아틸라의 우렁찬 보컬은 여전하며 특히 Dancing with the Dead를 포함한 초반부 트랙의 완성도는 상당하다. Alive or Undead같은 발라드 트랙도 분위기를 잘 환기시킨다. 파워울프답게 한끗발 날리는 보컬들이 게스트로 잔뜩 참여한 2CD는 필청. + 디지북 퀄리티도 전작보다 좋아진 것 같다.

In my view Beast of Gévaudan and Dancing with the Dead must be in the top5-10 of best Powerwolf´s songs. The rest of the songs of the album are bit repetitive and, in conclusion, an album that could be improved.

Erős album lett, azt hozták amit mindenki várt, ez is ugyanolyan jó mint a többi eddigi lemez. Semmi újdonság nincs szerencsére tipikus Powerwolf számok születtek most is. Külön plusz pont a 2 disc, jók a mások által énekelt klasszikusok is.
