These are some serious musicians. I felt a bit confused about how to enjoy this record, with some soft rock and poppy parts, and then it comes in with heavy very progressive playing. There's nothing harsh though. Also, I wish the singer wouldn't swear; it just feels out of place. Let Trent Reznor and Zack De la Rocha do the swearing. Overall very impressive, but I don't enjoy it like some other progressive metal.
