1948년 버밍엄 출생인 Glenn Tipton은 1974년 5월에 Judas Priest에 가입하면서 헤비메탈 사운드 창출에 막대한 영향을 미치게 된다. 기존의 핑거링을 중시하던 스타일에 스윕 아르페지오 피킹, 얼터네이트 피킹 등을 도입한 연주를 들려주었던 "Painkiller" 앨범에서 한 단계 더 능숙한 테크닉을 발산하고 있는 솔로 데뷔작이 본작이다. 작사, 작곡, 보컬, 프로듀싱을 직접 도맡고 있으며, 드럼의 Cozy Powell, Shannon Larkin과 베이스의 Billy Sheehan, John Entwistle, Robert Trujillo 그리고 키보드의 Don Airey 등 초호화 뮤지션들이 참여하여 앨범을 더욱 빛내고 있다. 기존의 Judas Priest 식 사운드에 하드코어, 얼터너티브 등의 요소가 첨가된 음악을 들려준다.
