성스럽고도 사악한 음악을 들려주는 Elend의 두 번째 앨범 Les Tenebres Du Dehors으로 Dark Wave/Ambient 계열의 Masterpiece로 통한다. 프랑스 출신으로 다수의 밴드들이 블랙메틀에 클래시컬한 연주를 도입한 반면 이들은 클래식의 기반위에 어둠의 요소들을 쌓아올렸다. 타락한 천사 Lucifer의 내면을 인간적인 모습으로 재해석하여 심포닉한 음악으로 표현하였다. 일렉트릭 바이올린, 키보드등을 맡고 있는 Renaud Tschirner가 전반적인 곡작업을 지배하고 있으며 Eve Gabrielle Siskind의 천상의 목소리와 Alexandre Hasnaoui의 표효하는 스크리밍이 극단적인 사운드를 대변한다.
