기존의 파워메탈만을 고집하다 접하게 된 Axxis. 분위기는 역시 멜로디의 강세였다. 멜로딕하드락의 하위장르인만큼 정통을 고집한다. The Fire Still Burns 에서 밝은 분위기를 즐길 수 있다. 색소폰 소리도 독특하다.
Father, Father 의 경우 왠만한 파워메탈에 준하는 탄탄한 실력을 보인다. Revolutions 에서는 다소 헤비한 경향이 있다.
많이 듣지 않는 밴드라서 깊이있는 평가는 하지 못했다. 가끔 기분전환으로 들으면 괜찮은 노래들이라고 본다.
