All Shall Perish 는 정통 불탈데쓰와 2000년 이후로 유행하기 시작한 메틀코어의 멜로딕함을 결합하여 완벽한 신종 데쓰메틀을 만들어냈다.2003년에 발매된 데뷔앨범인 본작은 장르간의 경계를 무너뜨리는 새로운 도전이자 실험작이다.이들은 단순히 밀어붙이는 데쓰메틀이 아닌 그루브함과 더불어 멜로딕한 리프들을 곳곳에 배치함으로써 자칫 밋밋하고 단조로울수도 있는 곡에 생기를 불어넣었다.또한 일명 꿀꿀이 보컬과 중저음의 묵직한 그로울링,그리고 날카로운 스크리밍 까지 소화해내는 보컬 Craig 의 능력은 All Shall Perish 의 핵심 요소라고 할 수 있다.곡이 전개됨에 따라 시시각각 변하는 그의 보컬을 듣는 재미가 쏠쏠하다.
