한국엔 우스갯소리로 NSBM이 농촌사랑 블랙메탈이라는 말이 있는데, 이들은 그 "농촌사랑" 블랙메탈에 대해 가장 심오하게 생각한 그룹이다. 농담하는것이 아니라 정말이다. 리더인 Famine의 인터뷰 내용에 의하면 "누가 진정한 애국자냐, 라는 말에 대해 자세히 생각해보니 진정한 애국자는 농부들이다."라는 답변이 있는데, 사실 우리는 가장 삶의 기본적인것에 대한 고마움을 전혀 깨닫지 못하고 살고있는것이 아니었을까. Famine의 말처럼 농부들이야말로 가장 국민들의 삶의 질에 신경쓰고 있는 애국자 아니던가. 일이 고되고 힘들어서 많은 사람들이 기피하게된 직업군중의 하나인 농부. 먹는것이야말로 힘의 원천이자 생명의 원천인것을, 우리는 너무나 당연하게 혜택을 누리고있어 생각하는것을 잊고만 있었던 그들의 노력에 대해 다시한번 생각하게 만들고 이들의 음악이 점점 뽕짝같아지는 이유도 바로 Famine의 철학이 녹아들면서 당연하게 된 것이 아닌가 생각든다. 그걸 증명이라고 하듯이 해당 앨범의 한정반은 까망베르 치즈박스에 담겨 발매가 되었는데, 참으로 당연하지만 기발한 발상이고 NSBM을 하려면 이정도 철학은 가지고 해야하는것이 아닌가 다시한번 생각하게되는 앨범이다. 전쟁, 극단적인 애국주의, 엘리트주의 ...
