단 세곡만으로도 많은 것을 보여주는 EP앨범. 뉴욕출신의 포스트 블랙메탈 밴드인 So Hideous는 밴드명처럼 처절하고 우울한 음악을 DSBM의 연장선상에서 들려주고 있다. 슈게이징의 영향도 보이며, 신디사이저, 현악기 등 고딕메탈이나 프록 계열에서 사용하는 클리셰도 여지없이 드러나고 있다. 보컬의 절규 또한 흠잡을 곳이 없으며, Estatic Fear를 연상케 하는 이미지와 컨셉도 서정성을 중시하는 청자들에게 강한 어필을 할 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 트레몰로 기타를 기반에 두고 지속적인 박자 변경을 통해 완급을 조절해 주고 있어서 Shining 초기의 음악과는 또다른 형태를 보인다.
