They just don't miss

I don't see what people are complaining about with this one, it's just more Darkthrone with a more lofi tone and some occasional high pitched vocals. The riffs are bonkers on this and it is crazy finished for a demo album, you all should give it more of a fair chance...

You really just can't go wrong with this artist, who I still think delivered one of the most consistent discographies in all of metal. Every release feels groundbreaking including this one- Emphasises the nocturnal atmosphere, feels foresty for a Bathory release...

Proto war metal but still blackened as all hell, it has such a burly and mean tone to it especially when you compare this to Bathory self titled there is just such a ferocity to this album's playing that is almost unmatched in the genre! It might have the most evil sounding vocalwork in the Bathory cannon too, Quarthon is monstrous on here it is absolutely a thing to behold.

Never been much of a fan of Motley Crue and even if this was the best album under their belt it sadly still is not for me. Feels like pop metal without much for teeth save for a few edgy songs and the cover. Too many songs about girls and shit tbh

Evil drone meets evil black metal for a record that I'd describe as being deeply, utterly disturbing. Always been unsettled by this one in a 'this is good horror' manner. Not their best but I could see why someone would tell me they think such a thing.

Pretty great stuff even if it isn't entirely my thing! I feel like there's a sense of it not being quite raw enough for my tastes..

Easily some of the most colorful and tasteful metal I've ever heard with amazing riffs and powerful vocals all around. The expressive bass and dynamic percussion adds an adventurous layer to the music not found too often in 80s metal of this caliber, exploring every possible avenue of this sound yet it wraps itself up nicely in a clean sub-40 minute runtime. One of the all time best records, theres no other way to put it.

Classic rock opera with a hint of heavy metal here and there, def feels like one of the godfathers of prog metal in places. Easily the band's most vital piece of art!

Just not really a fan of GNR, vocalist sort of annoys me and the guitar playing isn't terrible but I feel other acts do this type of thing a lot better especially for the year this was released it all feels a bit late to the game. Standard pop radio metal at best
