Dream Theater의 통산 3번째 정규 앨범인 Awake는 드림 씨어터의 음악세계를 좀 더 어둡고 차가운 곳까지 확장시킨 앨범이다. 일반적으로 DT의 명반으로 2집이 꼽히나 골수 팬들 사이에선 3집을 더 쳐주는 분위기이다. 전작에 비해 늘어난 러닝타임(50분->70분)만큼 앨범 자체의 난이도(?)도 전작에 비해 어느정도 올라간 편이다. Awake의 발매를 몇주 앞두고 밴드 창단멤버인 키보디스트 케빈 무어가 탈퇴함으로써 팬들은 물론이고 그의 절친한 친구이자 동료인 밴드 멤버들의 안타까움을 샀다. 1 like | |
