I love this album. My friend put me onto it about a week ago and I listened duly. The death elements, combined with the prog that I love so dearly, provided me with an impressive listening experience. It reminds me of if Opeth really dove into that more "modernist" death feel, but I could be wrong in that.

This is nearly my favorite album, there are a couple of places where the instrumentation doesn't necessarily tie together between songs, but the overall plot remains intact. Every single song is re-listenable and stands strong on its own.
