Godsend sa na druhom albume "In the Electric Mist" posunuli mierne iným smerom, aj keď základ zostáva rovnaný, čiže Doom/Stoner Metal s doplnením prvkov Alternatívy a z môjho pohľadu čiastočne aj Grunge. Zásadná zmena je za mikrofónom, kde nový spevák Per Morten Kjöl má práve ten alternatívny a miestami aj ťahavý štýl spevu (úplne odlišný od predchodcu - Dan Swanö -a). Hudba načerpala nové vplyvy, niektoré prvky ubudli, ale kvalitou je stále porovnateľná s prvotinou (aj keď jednotka bola o chlp lepšia). Dokonca v jednej piesni použijú aj prvky country. Album má taktiež dobrý zvuk.
