메탈킹덤에는 심포닉 고딕 메탈로 분류되어 있는데, 잘 들어보면 본작은 파워 메탈 성향을 강하게 띄고 있는 앨범이다. 전반적으로 이들의 데뷔 앨범에서는 신생 밴드 답지 않은 빼어난 역량이 느껴진다. 멜로디 라인에서 특별한 개성이 느껴지거나 하지는 않지만, 웅장하면서도 드라마틱한 사운드에서는 노련한 역량이 돋보인다. 하지만 앨범을 듣다보면 왠지 어디선가 들어본 듯한 사운드이기도 하여서 기이한 느낌이 들기도 하다. 개인적으로 본작을 잘 들어보면 Epica가 가장 많이 연상된다. 음악 스타일이나 멜로디 라인 같은 부분에서 흡사하다고 생각되는데, 알고보니 본작의 제작에 Epica의 전 기타리스트가 믹싱을 맡았고, 프로듀싱은 그 유명한 Sascha Paeth가 했다고 한다. 그러다보니 듣다보면 어딘가 익숙한 느낌이 많이 났던 듯하다. 이들의 데뷔앨범 Secrets는 오리지널리티 부분에서 높은 점수를 주기는 어렵지만, 연주력과 멜로디 라인 부분에서는 신인들 중에서는 발군이라고 생각된다. 네 번째 앨범을 발표하기까지 이들이 유럽에서 유명세를 떨친 것은 아니지만, 그럼에도 이 밴드는 앞날을 기대하게 만드는 면이 있다.
