On this fateful night prophecied,
The one said to be King of the Jews
Will be born in Bethlehem, the town of Judah,
Lying in a manger.

When you find him, report to me
So that I too may go and worship him.

How dare you deceive me,
You magi of the west.
This is my decree:
Death to every child under two.

I will slaughter every newborn to keep for myself the power vested in this unholy throne.
The King of the Jews will never rise to reign if he no longer lives.

Bring me his lifeless newborn body,
The one prophecied to save this world.
I will crush him in his weakest state.
My throne secured by drawing the blood from his veins.

The reward for my genocidal impulse:
I contract gangrenous disease.
I watch as worms burst out from my scrotum,
And see my putrified genitals fall to the floor.
