For the realm in which we reside

Stimulated by preconceived notions of entitlement to this world
Perceived as being the greatest entity in all existence

Anthropocentric, self-absorbed creatures

Compelled to uphold that which is only relevant to themselves
Matters that directly benefit their own selfish needs
