1. Beyond the Painting (5:51)
The night is her mantle, bare are her feet
she lights up her candle and walks the street.
Walk the night and follow the cobbled street
till you find the place.
Ancient walls where mist is merging
what is real with what might come to be.
Her hands draw illusions, weird is her stance,
exhaled from her vision veils of mist dance.
Paintings are adorning the courtyard where
silence muffles sounds,
in one of them a woman is standing,
now she moves, her eyes intense on you.
From the painting she is aiming towards you,
if you stay there she will meddle with you too.
If you let her she will swallow up your mind,
she will catch you and you’ll be dragged inside.
Behind her shape black shadows move along
a narrow shady lane,
oblivious of the paths they’re treading
they just keep on walking round and round.
From the painting she is aiming towards you,
if you stay there she will meddle with you too.
If you let her she will swallow up your mind,
she will catch you and you’ll be dragged inside
2. Tàlagor of the Storms (5:19)
She ran in the night with her hair flowing,
fears nothing but chains.
Daughter of the wild plains where she’d been growing,
fierceness in her veins.
Along the stream she stopped to wet her lips,
a quiver stirred her hips
and then she saw him.
A black horse with shining mane,
he looked so strong but tame,
her eyes filled with wonder.
“You beauty, will you guide me to my home land?
Though you’re strong and grand I will take
good care of you”.
She clutched to his mane but he reared up wildly,
it was then that she saw
brown water-weeds tangled, she tried to break free,
her heart filled with awe.
It was a flash, all of her fears she sealed,
freed her right hand to wield the golden bridle.
As it touched the horse's mane
a deep hush engulfed the air
and the horse bowed to her.
“Oh daughter, you have won my heart with true worth.
I’m with you henceforth
and I'll take you to where you belong”.
“Wild spirit,
guardian of deep streams and rivers.
Herald of thunders, Lord of storms.
Your mane is my shelter
and your heat my strength and power.
Yours is my fierceness, awesome steed,
Water Spirit, you.
3. Whispers of the Great Mother (7:05)
Velvet crimson petals,
soft stems greet the twilight
cradling in the cool wind...
Like a swirling vision they dance
sharing their wisdom,
echoing deep in my soul.
Hear the Mother’s voice,
feel the marvel all around.
Life is the real choice,
every breath is every aim, every sound.
Restless thoughts daydreaming,
they grow wings and soar high
to reach for a new shore.
Like a flood is my open mind,
I reach for new tides
breaking chains and mirrors.
Hear the Mother’s voice,
feel the marvel all around.
Life is the real choice,
endless cycles from the sky to the ground.
Hear the Mother’s voice,
see the marvel all around.
Life is the real choice,
every breath and every trace.
Feel the real life force,
endless seasons flowing free.
Wrathful radiant source,
earth and oceans, blood and flesh,
just one key.
4. Merlin and the Unicorn (6:06)
Snow falling, the day was growing, he silently moved.
His cloak grazed the brown leaves scattered along the trail,
rushes of cold wind blowing through his hair.
Then she came, a swift movement, whiter than snow.
Her grace so enchanting, her mane twinkling with stars,
he came to her and...
In her mind he saw the kindness of a strong and pure heart,
from her brow the magic horn, the power to heal and restore to life.
“Trust in my hands, I will guide you, trust in what I see.
Your very life is in great danger.
They will hunt you, try to kill you, hear me now and flee,
please heed my words and run away”.
Then she neighed, the air quivered evasive as dreams,
the glade where she had been now was wrapped in a haze, swirling around and...
From behind the trees appeared what he had sensed was coming
and the arrow darted in the glow of the haze and then it was gone.
“Trust in my hands, I will guide you, trust in what I see.
Your very life is in great danger.
They will hunt you, try to kill you, hear me now and flee,
please heed my words and run away. Run away”.
Smiling to himself he gladly went back to his journey
and behind of him the haze swirled into the sky and became a rainbow.“Trust in my hands, I will guide you, trust in what I see.
Your precious life is in great danger.
They will hunt you, try to kill you, hear me now and flee
please heed my words and run away. Run away”.
5. A Rose for Egeria (7:02)
Shass – Aur – Godar – Ommaii.
Sharim – Mor – Egeross.
Per grazia di Tenebra, fluido Diamante. Egeria.
Along the sweet waters there lies a shady grove,
she is the mistress of rivers, her tale full of true love.
Her skin is fair and pure reflecting from the lake,
her eyes revealing her wisdom, enchanting is her grace.
She’s a water nymph, she’s the keeper of the sacred oak
from where the silver spring
draws its powers to heal, nourishing life all around her.
You lover, you mother, I’ve come to offer a rose to you.
Inspirer, diviner, you lend your powers to bring life anew.
Your embrace is the moonlight, noble you,
bring your harmony and peace among the land.
I feel her gaze on me, a ripple stirs the air
and now the murmuring leaves acknowledge my being there.
From her endless tears cried for her lost and dearest love
was born the silver spring.
Now it flows bright and clear, green is the earth all around her.
You lover, you mother, I’ve come to offer a rose to you.
Inspirer, diviner, you lend your powers to bring life anew.
Your embrace is the moonlight, noble you,
bring your harmony and peace among the Roman Land.
You lover, you mother, I’ve come to offer a rose to you.
Inspirer, diviner, you lend your powers to bring new life.
You keeper, you healer, queen of the woodland from ancient times.
Bestower, revealer, you lend your powers to bring life anew.
Your embrace is the moonlight, noble you,
bring your harmony and peace among the land.
6. An Unexpected Guest (5:43)
He was walking in the darkness
wrapping tightly in his cloak
against the cold rain falling in the harshness
of an early winter’s night, howling wind from the heights.
Suddenly, atop the steep path, the lone house by the ash tree
appeared and quickening his step he took the track,
in his eyes a sudden glee...
And the woman inside heard the sudden knock at her door
and the man showed up, he said:
“I’m a storyteller and I brought to you
a magic book, it’s your gift and
when you touch it will be completed to
retell the tale of your own life, till the end of time
and nothing from your life will hide”.
The young woman smiled to her guest,
bowed her head and took the gift.
The book was wrapped in leather, of the finest
and she felt so bound to it, but then suddenly
she saw the lines of light from her hands
and new golden signs now shone.
From inside the pages in her hands she saw
herself, a child, her eyes shining.
Images and feelings were conjuring from
the magic book, but when she looked up the man was gone,
with her gift she’d been left alone.
Looking from the top of the hill above
to the stone house he was smiling.
He had not revealed to her the secret of the magic book.Every time the book is held in her hands
it would rewrite, a new future
would spring out, begotten by her own command
and showed to her.
But he was not allowed to reveal
or else the magic would be sealed.
7. Land of Wonder (4:29)
Light hearted, quick minded,
the little fairies melt into the grove.
Their slim hands carrying their gifts,
a cunning smile curling their lips.
Sneaked out from the giant oaks
they sing and jump to wake up who’s asleep.
The soft grass brushes their feet,
this is the land of wonder.
Birds and trees surround the crowded glade,
the sound of clear flutes echoes in the air,
join the dance now!
They plug your nose when you’re asleep
steal your blanket and pinch your feet,
glide on the ground, spin you around,
“dance your dance if you are one of us”.
If you are a dame, then you’re a knight,
it’s all a trick that fools your sight,
nothing is true and there’s no clue,
“find your spring well if you’re one of us”.
Moonbeams seeping through the shady trees,
the smell of spring is rousing, make your move,
dare to dance now!
They plug your nose when you’re asleep
steal your blanket and pinch your feet,
glide on the ground, spin you around ,
“dance your dance if you are one of us”.
If you are a dame, then you’re a knight,
it’s all a trick that fools your sight,
nothing is true and there’s no clue,
“find your spring well if you’re one of us”.
8. Altars of Secrets (4:55)
Giacula: Nox, arcani fidissima, adiutrixque venis et cantus et artis magorum.Sand and stones across green moors,
sunbeams blind my eyes.
I’ve seen this place in my own dreams, feel like I belong here.
Smell of thyme and wild flowers,
frame the stones, white stark towers in the sky,
an intoxicating joy showers me.
Fires burning up the altar stone,
hear the drumbeat echoing outthrobbing in my very bones.
Meanings hidden in an ancient world
burning through my mind, brand my vision, heal my life.
Secrets from sweet ancient times
like shadows seeping through.
In my mind I hear voices
and a vision now dances in the air,
feel the power surging inside of me.
Fires burning up the altar stone,
hear the drumbeat echoing out
throbbing in my very bones.
Meanings hidden in an ancient world
burning through my mind, brand my heart and heal my sight.
Giacula: Nox Arcana Aurea Cum Luna
Tuque Triceps Trivia. Hecate.
Fires burning up the altar stone,
hear the drumbeat echoing out
throbbing in my very bones.
Meanings hidden in an ancient world
burning through my open mind,
fire, earth and water.
Hearts are joining in a full moon night
soaring ‘cross the times,
minds expanding, flying high.
9. Prelude to the Rush (1:23)
Instrumental
10. Running all Night with the Wind (4:49)
I’m running through the wild of the unknown,
dissipating all the fears I have sown.
Feel the power growing, like a thrill in my bones.
The air seems full of anticipation,
with my mind I sense the life in the woods.
Overwhelming feelings like the rage of the floods.
Tonight I’m running all night with the wind,
reaching out in wonder, for all I’ve sought in my dreams.
The leafy branches caress my skin,
my soul breathes awe and wonder,
I close my eyes to feel the life that flows in me.
The tall trees are now closing around me
and I lay down, my hair spread on the earth.
In a burst of colours sparks of death and rebirth.
Tonight I’m running all night with the wind,
reaching out in wonder,
for all I’ve touched in my dreams.
The moonlight’s dancing, my mind is free,
redeeming my whole body.
Sweat on my limbs, I feel the wildest side of me.
Tonight I’m running all night with the wind,
reaching out in wonder,
for all I’ve known in my dreams.
So fierce and wild is the cry of the wind,
earth and air and thunder,
within my veins raging streams.
I heard your whisper: sweeten my lips
and moisten my whole body
cause now I‘m free to feel the world inside of me.
11. Haerelneth's Journey (6:52)
Winter
through snowy paths she was riding,
mountains rising high
but since three moons her heart had stopped flying,
in her mind a deafness to the life around.
Moonlight
she bowed to whisper her prayer
and then suddenly
the voice bloomed in her mind and grew stronger,
with eyes bright with new hope she stood up and...
“Cross the river till the grove to where you belong,
the giant oak tree will renew what is lost to you.
Wait by her roots till in your heart sprouts a song,
she will reach for your mind
and rescue you from all your misery”.
She rode along the river till she found the enchanted grove,
the lake was bright and clear, and then she saw the giant tree.
The leafy boughs seemed to reach out to her,
the Mother’s warm embrace
Then her bare feet felt a throb through the ground
and the huge trunk glowed from silver to brown.
Deep in her heart a grip was soon released
and a soft song all her sadness now pierced.
Springtime
greeting the new leaves and flowers,
the fair elf walked by
feeling one with the birds, trees and rivers.
In her mind devotion, love and joy for life.
“Cross the river till the grove to where you belong,
the giant oak tree will renew what is lost to you.
Wait by her roots till in your heart sprouts a song,
she will reach for your mind
and rescue you from all your misery”.
