What a debut! Over 20 years later after I heard it for the first time, I'm still amazed what a piece of Epic Doom mastery this is. One of the highest-tier records within the sub-genre.

Very nice melodic Trad Doom. Lowe's great vocals carry across somber riffs and strong songwriting.

This album was a nice unexpected surprise. I, without any major expectations, listened to it and was blown away. Then I googled the lineup, and guess what? Robert Lowe! I don't know why it hadn't occurred to me even though I thought "man, this band's vocalist sings just like the guy from Candlemass." Even though the instrumental parts are lighter than Candlemass, It's just plain greatness.
