Lace and Whiskey Comments

Kind of all over the place with the songs on this one but that is what makes it work for about 3/4ths of the album but not one of the iconic Cooper's stronger albums.

This album seems to get slammed a lot by Alice fans (especially 70s Alice fans) but actually is diverse. The problem is the production could be better. I would love to hear this one remastered.

앨리스쿠퍼 극장에 들어가 훌륭한 희곡 한편을 보고 나오는 느낌. 세련되고 신나는 리프가 춤추는 하드록으로 시작하여 팝 적인 터치, 애상적이면서 쓸쓸한 발라드, Battle Hymn of the Republic 의 등장과 드라마틱한 서사, 풍부한 악기 사운드, 적절한 조미료 같은 로커빌리 커버까지. 흐름이 예술입니다. 머리 속에 영화같은 장면들이 줄줄이 스쳐가며 감정을 만집니다.

'You And Me'도 있길래 이것도 좋은 앨범인줄 알았는데.. 5번 외에는 6번정도만 괜찮았어요.ㅋ
