Trouble is an interesting album, but I think it shows a band that doesn't have its footing. Dabbling in some different styles with a blues backing. Coverdale is still growing as a singer and overall everyone minus Jon Lord doesn't do anything special. The dated production also doesn't help things. However, the things that would make Whitesnake great are here and can be fun to listen to. Some standouts for me are Take Me With You, The Time Is Right For Love and Trouble.
