War and Pain is a good first album from the band, but it has a few flaws and in my opinion is not one of the band's best

Pretty standard Thrash debut from Voivod, though this release has a lot more Hardcore Punk influence than say, any of the Big 4 did. It's rough, but it's fast and heavy as hell.
