Vicious Rumors na albume "The Devil's Asylum" ponúkajú svoju tradičnú porciu Power/Heavy Metal-u, pričom na albume sa predstavuje nový spevák Chalice (Brian Betterton), ktorý predtým pôsobil aj v kapele Kill Ritual. Novou tvárou kapely je taktiež Robin Utbult - basa (ex-Air Raid) a Denver Cooper - gitara (inak aj Midnight Spell, NZM). Zvyšní dvaja členovia sú stálicou kapely od jej vzniku, a to: Geoff Thorpe - gitary a Larry Howe - bicie. Album je postavené hlavne na gitarových riffoch, má dobrý zvuk, pričom spev som si musel napočúvať trochu viac krát, aby mi pasoval do hudby, ale tiež je podarený.
