폴란드 메탈씬도 북유럽 국가들이나 독일 만큼은 아니어도 용담호혈이나 다름없는 곳이라고 본다. 특히 이 곳에서는 익스트림 메탈 밴드들이 강세인데, 그중에서도 데스 메탈에 한정한다면, 그 정점에 있는 팀이 바로 Vader라고 할 수 있을 것이다. 엄청난 힘과 에너지로 몰아붙이는 Vader가 제작한 작품들은 활동 초기부터 강성 메탈을 듣고 싶어하는 팬들의 이해와 일치하여 그들을 폴란드 데스 메탈의 총아로 만들어내는데 일조하였다. De Profundis를 통해 역량을 입증한 밴드는 커버 앨범을 발표한 후 그리 오래지 않아 다시 한 장의 작품을 발표함으로써 시간을 낭비하지 않았다. Black to the Blind는 이전 앨범과 마찬가지로 여전한 그들의 과격한 힘과 폭력적인 성향을 담지하고 있다. 다만 약간 이질적이라고 생각되어지는 바는 유독 멜로디가 강하다는 점이다. 특히 첫 곡 Heading for Internal Darkness의 전주 부분에서 들려오는 멜로디는 귀를 의심하지 않을 수 없을 정도로 달달하게 들리기까지 하다. 물론 원체 Vader는 리프와 리듬으로 승부를 보는 밴드라 파워 메탈 마냥 화려한 멜로디는 아니지만, 확실히 수려하게 들리는 멜로디 라인이었다. 그로테스크하게 들리는 멜로디에 뒤이어 이어지는 전개는 여전히 Vader스러운 전개가 이루어지 ... Vader는 뭘 해도 Vader다. 그게 어떤 의미로는 뭘 해도 수준급 이상의 작품이 나온다는 뜻이기도 하지만, 다른 의미로는 예상한 대로 다소 뻔한 스타일이라고 할 수도 있겠다. 부담감 없는 구수한 트레몰로, 밴드 음악색과 딱 맞아 떨어지는 보컬, 때론 리드미컬한 질주가 느껴지는 리듬까지 아주 정갈한 맛이 일품인 수준급 작품.
