On first solo album "Rejoice in the Suffering", Todd La Torre shows a different concept and perception of music than his home band Queensrÿche. The music is harder, more direct and metal oriented, without significant progressive elements. It combines elements of the 80s, 90s and the present with an emphasis on Power Metal.

sólové album Todd La Torre -ho (aktuálneho speváka Queensrÿche), sa pohybuje v Power/Heavy Metal -e s občasnými prvkami Doom, pričom niektoré piesne sú melodickejšie, niektoré tvrdšie a občas mi pripomenuli power-metalové kapely z 80-tych rokov, prípadne začiatku 90-tych rokov. Album je priamočiarejšie a tvrdšie, ako jeho domovská skupina, má hutný + aktuálny zvuk a celkovo "šľape". Kvalitka.
