Fine Prog Metal, but nothing unique about it. Riffs are a bit too chuggy for me.

좋은 곡들을 수록하고 있으나 처음 접하는 쓰레숄드팬에게는 그 닥 추천하고 싶지않다. 프로그레시브메탈에서 멜로디와 멀어지고 곡 자체의 완성도만 보았을 때는 배울점이 많은 앨범이다..

예전 프로그레시브 락 밴드들이 들려주던 전통적인 사운드에 헤비한 기타리프를 가미한 슬로, 미들 템포의 곡들이 주를 이룬다. 이 밴드의 음악적 취향이 대략 이러한 것 같다. 엉뚱한 상상이지만 이들의 음악을 들으면 마치 정장을 입고 메틀을 연주하는 그런 느낌을 받는다. 신사 메탈? 어쨌든 꾸준히 일정한 퀄리티의 앨범들을 발매하고 있다.

My most played album # 65. Threshold - Extinct Instinct. The third studio album was released in 1997. What an amazing band, I love the guitar tone in part produced by double leads. Great vocals. Another concept album about how man is destroying the Earth. Best songs are "Eat the Unicorn", "The Whispering" and "Part of the Chaos".
