85-90 practice 앨범이 나기도 한다. 테스타먼트같이 기복이 적은 밴드가 또 있을까 싶다. 언제부터인가 헤비메탈 음반의 음질도 꽤나 쓸만한데 이 앨범도 좋다. 새로 들어온 드러머도 잘 녹아들었다

It's an extremely good thrash album in my opinion, it's just more so that thrash isn't really all that much my thing, sure I like the stuff but it's just not heavy enough I guess, thrash is great and for what it's worth this album is certainly heavy and some of the best thrash I've ever heard and I'd expect nothing less from the thrash powerhouse that is testament. I'll give it another listen some time to smooth my thoughts over.

1번 트랙 듣다가 갑자기 멜블랙스런 트레몰로 리프가 나와서 앨범을 잘못 재생한 줄 알았다. 1,2,3번까진 참 즐겁게 들었는데 이후 트랙들이 너무 아쉽다. 초반의 에너지를 잘 끌고 가지 못한거 같고 곡들이 통일되지 못하고 따로 노는 느낌이 들었다. 방향성이나 시도들은 좋게 들어서 다음 앨범이 기대된다.

솔직히 말해 후기 Testament는 개성이 너무 없다. 무난히 좋으나 기억에 별로 남지는 않는 것 같다. 멜데스와 적절히 버무린 초반 곡들은 꽤 매력적으로 다가왔지만, 여기에 80~90년대식 뽕끼 가득한 스래쉬 몇곡, 멜로디컬한 파워발라드 한곡 섞으니 이게 앨범인지, 잡탕밥인지 모르겠다.

Muy bueno este Para Bellum de Testament. Es un trabajo muy cañero de principio a fin, con una balada interesante también. Se notan las nuevas manos a la batería en este sonido tan enérgico. Y la voz de Chuck suena impresionante en todos los registros.

It's a great album, Testament seems to be trying something new but it's still awesome. Enjoy this and Keep metal!

Great album will be in my top 10 albums for the year.

후기작들이 좋은데 인상깊진 않았다. 잘 달리는데 이상하게 귀에 잘 안들어오는 느낌. 단연 후기작들 중 최고이며 알렉스의 곡인 Meant to Be도 좋았다. 강한놈이 오래가는게 아니라 오래가는 놈이 강한거더라 이 유명한 대사를 이제는 테스타먼트에게 헌사해야 할 것 같다. 80년대에 시작한 스래쉬 밴드 중 이만한 작품을 만든건 아직까진 코로너와 이들 뿐이다.

Good new album by Testament

Testament 가 왜 Testament 인지 일깨워주는 앨범. 특히 이번 앨범은 매력이 다른 곡들을 잘 배치하여, 한 곡 한 곡은 좋은데 전체를 듣기엔 지루했던 요소까지 제거했다. 도저히 단점을 찾아볼 수 없는 모범적인 작품.

잘 달리다가 중간에 발라드 곡 하나가 뜬금없이 나오는거 빼면 무난하다

Testament came through in great fashion on the well-established-acts side of last Friday's new releases. Similar to Starer's awesome album, this Testament album starts out with a first track that just blew me away, in this case my favorite for the album. This release gets a tad less fantastic toward the middle, but from pure thrash songwriting to somewhat more heavy metal songs like Havana Syndrome, I had a great time.

Testament never disappoints. Another excellent release from the band. A well-rounded album, with the band's essence clearly present, with heavy songs that more closely resemble death metal and others in the band's classic style. I must also highlight the beautiful balda "Meant to Be." Certainly one of the best albums of 2025.

새로운 드러머의 젊음을 수혈한 노장의 강력한 복귀작. 이전 어떤 앨범보다도 파워넘치는 멜데스에 가까운 음악들이 대부분. 다만 한곡씩 들으면 역시 테스타먼트다 싶은데 앨범 전체로는 유기성이 조금 부족한 느낌.

어르신들의 역습. 대체 어디서 업어왔나 찾아보게 만든 새로운 젊은 피 드러머와 함께 앨범커버처럼 불맛쇠맛나게 때립니다. 시원하게 달리는 곡 듣고싶을때 자주 들을것같습니다. 중간에 야무진 발라드도있고 80년대 스타일 곡도 있고 마지막까지 완급조절 야무지게 잘 끌고갑니다. 테스타먼트식 멜데스라는 새로운 옷이 이젠 잘 어울린다고 말할수있겠습니다.
