전작과 마찬가지로 무시무시하게 때려박는 리프는 일품이다. 컨셉상으로는 여전히 심해공포와 크툴루의 이미지를 유지하고 있으며, Seventy Steps의 경우 육중한 미드템포를 통해 단순하면서도 깊이있는 악곡을 들려준다. 기타솔로보다는 보컬과 리듬 자체의 광폭성을 주무기로 삼았으나, 그래도 전작에 비해 멜로디가 좀 더 잘들린다는 것. 구조 자체도 접근성이 높으며, 앨범 전체의 완급 조절까지 수려하다. Devotion to the Cosmic Chaos는 비장하면서도 음울한 인트로의 분위기를 그대로 이어가면서 등장하는데, 느린 템포의 그로울링으로 시작하여 광폭한 리프로 급격하게 바뀌는 초반부의 카타르시스가 일품이다. 그 외에도 강렬한 비트로 중반부를 꽉 채우는 He is the Gate, Onwards.. Towards Kadath가 백미.

크툴루 신화를 소재로 써먹는 밴드들 중에선 이들이 제일 좋은 것 같다. 전작을 약간 더 좋게 듣기는 했지만 여전히 강렬하다. 전작과 마찬가지로 마지막 연주곡이 끝내준다.
