전작의 기운을 이어가는 스캐너. 컨셉에 맞게 잘 하는 밴드인 것은 충분히 알 수 있으나, 청자를 위한 외연 확장적인 요소를 하나만 더 넣어도 좋을 것을 안타깝다. 전작보다 끝까지 듣기가 조금 힘들어졌다.

This album starts extremely strong, but fails to maintain that level of quality throughout. Still a very good record.

Scanner’s second return to the scene has been concluded in a fabulous way the band eventually succeeded in reaching the high standards from the-80’s, while the music reflected the Power/Speed Metal style of the time. At the same time, Progressive and Heavy Metal elements are audible in the "Ball of the Damned" album.
