Redemption의 데뷔 앨범은 밴드가 시작부터 얼마나 높은 수준의 음악적 완성도를 갖추고 있었는지를 보여주는 작품이다. 데뷔작이라고 하면 흔히 이후의 발전 가능성을 먼저 떠올리지만, 이 앨범은 처음부터 자신들이 추구하는 프로그레시브 메탈의 방향을 상당히 명확하게 제시한다. 묵직한 기타 리프와 복잡한 구성, 웅장한 키보드를 바탕으로 하면서도 단순히 연주력을 과시하는 데 그치지 않고 선명한 멜로디와 극적인 전개를 통해 곡 자체의 흡인력을 만들어낸다. 곡마다 상당한 구성적 야심이 담겨 있지만 지나치게 난해하게 흐르지 않으며, 강렬한 부분과 서정적인 부분이 자연스럽게 이어지면서 각각의 곡이 뚜렷한 흐름을 갖는다. 특히 복잡한 연주와 멜로디가 서로 충돌하지 않고 하나의 음악적 방향으로 정리되어 있다는 점이 인상적이다. 무엇보다 첫 앨범임에도 아직 자신들의 색깔을 찾아가는 과정이라는 느낌이 거의 없고, 무엇을 보여주고 싶은지 이미 알고 있다는 듯한 자신감이 느껴진다. 그렇다고 과도하게 야심을 드러내거나 난해함을 앞세우지도 않는다. 프로그레시브 메탈의 무게와 복잡성을 유지하면서도 곡의 감정과 멜로디를 놓치지 않기 때문에 반복해서 들어도 음악의 흐름이 쉽게 지루해지지 않는다. 결 ... first Redemption album offers good portion of music, while musicians from the bands Agent Steel, Symphony X and Steel Prophet participated in it. In description of album is mentioned the wrong singer. First album was sung by Rick Mythiasin.
