프라이머스는 매우 실험적이고 개성이 강한 음악을 들려주는 팀이다. 이들의 음악은 메탈팬들에게 어필할만한 요소는 거의 없다. 그러나 뻔한 패턴의 락, 메탈 음악이 식상하게 느껴질 때 프라이머스의 음악은 좋은 대안이 된다. 어디로 튈지 모르는 이들의 변화무쌍하고 기발한 연주는 타성에 젖은 리스너들에게 신선한 자극으로 다가온다.

The whole album is a weird funky mess of slap bass, incredible drum beats, and random freestyle guitar in the background. You cant really take this album at face value, because it doesn't really have one. Primus are in a league of their own, and in my eyes are very good at what they do. Best songs are DMV, Nature Boy, Hamburger Train, And My Name Is Mud. A great listen for any funk metal fans.

Joke metal. Unpleasant and it's not funny enough to have any appeal to me.

z môjho pohľadu je to ich najlepšie album. Naďalej sa pohybujú v Alternative/Funk/Experimental Rock -u s občasnými prvkami Metal -u, avšak pridali aj psychadelickejšie prvky a oproti predošlým dvom aj vážnejšie a temnejšie texty. Dokonca aj spev mi menej vadí.
