My 1,058th most played album. Poison - Swallow This Live. The first live album released in 1991. Loaded with great songs and what I thought was one of the best guitar solos rated as the worst guitar solo ever by Guitar World magazine in 2004. Mmmm, I definitely don’t agree! 16 songs from the first 3 albums, 4 new studio tracks, a great guitar and drum solo! Great songs incluse; "Look What the Cat Dragged In", "Look But You Can't Touch", "Ride the Wind", "I Want Action", "Something to Believe In", "Unskinny Bop", "Love on the Rocks", "Guitar Solo", "Every Rose Has Its Thorn", "Your Mama Don't Dance", "Nothin' But a Good Time", "Talk Dirty to Me".

1,2,3집의 곡들이 고루 선곡되어있으며 신곡 4곡을 포함한 라이브 앨범으로 안정적이고 현장감 넘치는 라이브를 즐기기 딱 좋다. 미국에서 2012년에 이들을 데프레파드와 직접 봤을때는 사실 안중에는 있지도 않고 데프레파드 오프닝 밴드로 나오길래 아 그래 포이즌이라는 글램메탈 밴드가 있었지... 라고 생각하며 대충 시간이나 때우려다가 사자처럼 카리스마 있는 보컬과 글래메탈치고는 정말 테크니컬하고 정교한 기타사운드에 감동하며 눈이 휘둥그레지고 결국 데프레파드보다 더욱 완성도 높은 공연을 보여주었던 기억이 아직도 생생하다. 20년 전의 작품이니 당시 전성기 시절의 그 에너지는 또한 얼마나 대단했을까, 공연장의 함성과 분위기, 쌩쌩한 보컬과 탄탄한 연주가 잘 어우러진 대단한 80년대 글램메탈 라이브 앨범의 표본이 아닐까 싶다.

당시 1장 짜리 라이센스 LP로 구매 한 후에 바로 2장 짜리 수입CD로 다시 질렀던 기억이 난다. 새내기 시절이었는데 캠퍼스의 낭만 이런 거 보다 사정 상 노가다 알바를 자주 해야 했고 그로 인해 육체적으로 참 힘들던 내 청춘 시절 버팀목 이었던 음반이라 의미가 남다르다. 이 앨범 이후 이 쟝르와 밴드는 화려했던 전성기를 내려놓게 되는 시기를 맞는다.

당시 동네 레코드 가게에 이앨범 나왔다고 큰 포스터가 붙어있던게 생각남. 라이브+약간의 신곡 인데 신곡중에선 So Tell Me Why가 주요곡. 브렛 마이클스와 함께 포이즌의 상징적 존재였던 CC데빌의 마지막앨범
