모든 둠 데스 메탈이 그렇지만 특히 밴드가 직접 언급한 오톱시의 영향을 받았고, 러브크래프트가 주제다. 올드스쿨 데스 메탈 리바이벌이 1990년대 데스 메탈의 열화가 아닌 부활과 재해석임을 보여준다.
