King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard na novom albume "Phantom Island" opäť kombinujú rôzne hudobné štýly, pričom narozdiel od ich najlepšieho albumu z roku 2023 ubrali na tvrdosti a hudobne sa výrazne pohybujú v rockových vodách ako Soft/Psychedellic/Art,/Boogy/Garage Rock s občasnými prvkami Art. alebo dokonca aj Pop. Hudba na albume pi pripadá ako retro, akoby sa vrátili do dôb niekde medzi 70-tými a 80-tými rokmi. Album naozaj nie je zlé, avšak ide výraznejšie mimo môjho štýlu záujmu. Piesne sú zaujímavé, miestami až experimentálne, pričom chalani sa neobmedzujú nejakými hudobnými škatuľkami. Dokážem zhodnotiť, že hudba je nápaditá, ale aj schopne počúvateľná, ale hudobne mimo môjho záujmu. Mimochodom predný obal albumu je dosť podarený a k hudbe sa celkom hodí (jeden z ich najlepších obalov).
