이 밴드는 우리나라에서 유명세가 덜하기 때문에 잘 알려져 있지 않지만 올드스쿨 헤비메탈의 효시와 같은 밴드로 특히 이 데뷔앨범은 이 분야 명반으로 손꼽기에 전혀 부족함이 없다. 1981년 발매라는 점을 잊지 말고 들어보면 당시로서는 파격적인 어마어마한 리프의 홍수에 강력한 보컬 파워드러밍이 쏟아진다. 당시 헤비하다는 웬만한 하드락 그룹들 다 씹어먹을 수준이고 특히나 Heavy metal mania라는 곡은 수많은 밴드들이 커버하면서 대단히 유명한 넘버이지만 우리나라에서는 잘 알려져 있지 않다.
숨겨진 보물로 올드스쿨 하드락 초기 헤비메탈을 좋아하는 팬들에게는 정말 추천할만한 명작이고 첫번째곡부터 보다는 7번 트랙을 먼저 들은 후에 첫번째 곡부터 시작하면 진짜 매력을 느낄 수 있을 것이다. 여담이지만 나는 이 앨범을 무려 12년 전에 구매했지만 첫번째 곡에서 실망하고 계속 플레이하지 않고 쳐박아 두었다가 얼마전에 우연히 음반정리하다가 꺼내서 다시 플레이했는데 큰 볼륨으로 제대로 들었더니 숨겨진 보물을 발견한 느낌이다.
다만 트윈기타이지만 스콜피온스나 주다스프리스트처럼 완벽하게 리듬과 리드가 구분되어 자기 영역이 확실한 연주구성은 아니고 원기타에 오버더빙으로 착각할 만큼 트윈 ... See More

Good album. It mix some punk stuff with hard rock/metal. Turns out to be really cool. The first track is a exemple of that. Mavrock is the best track. The vocals and production could be better but still good for the standards.

very good NWOBHM / Heavy Metal album. The Nightcomers has good music, vocals and well-heard instruments (for the time of release).
