Helloween na živáku "Live at Budokan" opäť prezentujú úspešné spojenie zostavy všetkých dôležitých členov kapely, pričom využívajú možnosti troch výborných spevákov a hlasov ako (Michael Kiske - hlavný spev, Andi Deris - hlavný spev a Kai Hansen - doprovodný spev a hlavný spev prvotnej éry). Piesne na koncerte mapujú dôležité albumy a obdobia kapely, pričom každý si ako hlavný hlas zaspieva svoju časť podporenú ostatnými. Čiže najlepším prvkom je kombinácia jednotlivých hlasov (spevákov) počas spievania piesní, kde si jednotlivé časti rozdelili alebo spievajú ich spolu. V kombinovanom podaní si vypočujeme speedové a power metalové piesne ako aj baladičky. Po hudobnej stránke kapela taktiež "šľape", čiže môžeme si vypočuť výbornú prácu od Michael Weikath -a - gitary, Kai Hansen -a - taktiež gitary (okem vyššie spomínaného spevu), Sascha Gerstner -a - gitary a Markus Grosskopf -a - basgitara. No a taktiež výbornej práce za bicími od Dani Löble -la. Dá sa napísať, že rovnakým spôsobom sa už prezentovali už na predošlom živáku "United Alive", kde som dal rovnaký počet bodov, ale ten bol aj rozsiahlejší (dlhší - viac piesní a o trošku lepší).

Forever를 들어보면 앤디데리스의 몽환적이고 팝적인 음색과 팔세토에서의 날선 금속성이 키스케를 압도하는 면모를 보여준다. 물론 키스케는 나의 인생 Vocal이지만, 앤디데리스 역시 동등하게 좋아한다. 왜냐면 그들은 서로 주고받는 비교우위가 있는데.
앤디는 같은 헬로윈 풍에서 부드럽게 이어지는 멜로디곡(ex - Power) 나 발라드에서 키스케를 앞선다. 물론 스트레이트한 곡도 키스케 못지 않게 잘친다.(ex - before the war)
키스케는 스트레이트하게 엣지 있게 꽂는 곡에 영웅적인 프레임으로 독보적이다. 둘 다 사랑하지 않을 수 없다.
앤디같은 경우가 오히려 더 괴물인데. 중저음에서 중고음영역의 음성의 두께는 마이클볼튼 정도로 굵은 입자를 자랑한다.
다만 미하일키스케같은 경우에는 중고음에서의 엣지있는 톤이 두꺼운 입자를 가진 자들보다 더 밀도있기 때문에 더 하드하다.
미하일키스케는 3옥타브 파까지의 엣지있는 이펙트 톤이 독보적이며
앤디는 3옥타브 라까지의 팔세토를... 가성으로 소화하는데. 이 것은 창법이 가성이지만 그가 워낙에 피지컬 괴물인지라
필살기 창법이 되버렸다. 음도 높은데 음색도 환상적인... 쉽게 표현하면 섬광이 일어나는 가성팔세토이다. 이 앨범에서 부른 Forever같이 금속톤을 ... See More

좋아하는 밴드의 라이브 앨범은 가급적이면 영상매체로 구해보는 편인데, 음원만 들어서는 공연의 현장감을 제대로 느낄 수 없기 때문이다. 본 앨범은 도쿄에서의 두 시간짜리 라이브를 수많은 카메라로 촬영하였으며, 그 덕에 공연장을 가득 채운 팬들의 호응과 진심으로 즐거워하는 완전체 헬로윈 멤버들의 모습을 블루레이 고화질로 생생하게 접할 수 있는 것만으로도 충분한 가치가 있다.
United Alive에서 느꼈던 감동을 다시 한번 느낄 수 있으며, 2021년에 발표한 셀프 타이틀 앨범 Helloween의 수록곡들이 들어있는 것이 포인트. 시작부터 대곡 Skyfall로 분위기를 휘어잡으며, 특히 중간중간 멤버들의 코멘트, 50대 후반에 접어들었음에도 철저한 자기관리를 통해 Save Us를 라이브로 선보이는 미하일 키스케의 퍼포먼스, Mass Pollution 도입 전 여유롭게 걸어나오며 베이스를 튕기는 마르쿠스, Walls of Jericho부터 개인적으로 1집에서 가장 좋아하는 Victim of Fate를 중후반 내레이션 부분까지 불러주는 카이 한센, 커다란 키와 멋진 헤어스타일로 연주장면 하나하나가 영화같은 샤샤, 아직도 꽃중년의 외모를 유지하는 바이카스 등 헬로윈 팬이라면 반드시 만족할 만한, 그리고 여유가 된다면 필히 구매해야 할 앨범이다.

Few bands have the longevity and power to keep their music coming at in-your-face levels for over 40 years, and the mighty Helloween is one of those bands. Since they added Michael Kiske and Kai Hansen back into the fold, becoming what can only be called the magnificent 7, they have been on a tear. With the release of their last studio album Skyfall, they have proven that having 2 incredible lead singers and 3 amazing guitarists in the lineup not only works, but makes them something much greater than ever. To give fans a proper taste of the last tour that encompassed 2022 and 2023, travelling all over the world, the band has released their best live album to date: Helloween – Live at Budokan on Reigning Phoenix Music.
The setlist for this live album mixes tracks from Skyfall with some of their best songs from their 41 year career, perfectly capturing the entire two-hour show. Live at Budokan offers a fresh experience compared to previous releases like High Live and United Alive, by including Michael Kiske (vocals) and Kai Hansen (guitars) in with the longest running lineup of Andi Deris (vocals – 30 years), Michael Weikath and Markus Grosskopf (guitar and bass – 41 years), Sascha Gerstner (guitar – 22 years), and Daniel Löble (drums – 19 years).

키스케 형님과 엔디 데리스 형님의 컨디션이 안 좋았는지 아니면 나와 같이 나이가 먹어가는 것인지 예전과 같은 파워풀한 보컬을 선보이진 않지만 여전히 카리스마 넘치는 모습에 감동을 느끼게 되네요 못 부른다는 것이 아니라 묘하게 예전과 다르게 파워풀하지 않다는 뜻입니당...... 이들과 같은 시대를 살고있는 것에 감사할 따름인데 오히려 카이 형님의 보컬이 불을 뿜는다. 라이브에서 잘 안 불렀던 Save us를 키스케 형님이 눈물나게 라이브로 선보인게 저는 이 앨범의 백미라고 봅니다.
