92년 데스메탈로 시작하여, 94년 첫 정규앨범부터는 멜로딕 블랙메탈을 연주한 Dawn.
활동은 하고있다지만, 98년 발매한 Slaughtersun (Crown of the Triarchy)를 마지막으로 20년 이상 새로운 앨범이
나오지 않고 있다는 것은 이들의 광적인 팬인 나로써는 매우매우 슬픈 일이 아닐수가 없다.
14, 16년에 발매한 The Eternal Forest - Demo Years '91-'93과 20th Anniversary Box 1997-2017는 기존에
발매했던 데모와 정규음반의 Compilations 버전이니 새로운 앨범은 출시하지않았다는것이 된다...
아니, 어쩌면 이게 맞는 것인지도 모른다.
많은 밴드들이 오랜 기간 활동을 해오며 그들이 갖고있던 고유의 매력과 90년대 블랙메탈이 전성기를 맞이했던 그 때의 감성이 사라져버리는 것을 블랙메탈의 팬들은 잘 알고있을 것이다.
그것이 꼭 나쁜 것만은 아니지만, 그 찬란했던 황금기의 감성을 알고있는 블랙메탈 팬들은 아쉬움이 남을 수 밖에 없다.
오히려 그렇기 때문에 Dawn이 새로운 앨범을 내지않은 것은 잘 한 편일지도 모르겠다..
물론 결과론적인 이야기지만 말이다.

Great EP from one of the earlier Meloblack bands, not super unique but quality nonetheless.

pomerne slušné EP. Dawn počas existencie kapely toho veľa nevydali (mimo demo nahrávok aj 2 radové albumy a 1 EP), avšak na Death/Black Metal -ovej scéne si urobili celkom dobré meno.
