One long song across all 12 tracks. It's good to hear a band escape from the basic conventions. The guitar sound is excellent, it's all nice and gothic, and I feel like I'm in a story, so it's definitely mission accomplished for The Vision Bleak.   4 days ago

Kind of like listening to The Smiths but with better songwriting or like listening to Kate Bush without the top-tier singing, whereas Only Theatre of Pain is more rocking and metal-adjacent. Early Moods is quickly becoming one of the most happening bands out there, especially with this brand new album being so close to the absolute elite tiers in metal history. Easily my album of the day. It's a beautiful blend of influences, centered around early metal. The Iommic riffs are pure gold. The singing is excellent. Wow. There are some pornogrind moments, but this album is a well-played exploration of where the lines between genres blur, even at times sounding almost black 'n roll, war metal. or raw black metal. Based on their earlier album covers, I don't know if I want to hear all of their material, but this veteran band has some real skills and deserves respect.   7 days ago

아름다운 앨범이다. 8, 12번 특히 좋았다. 12번은 TSO에서도 많이 연주된다. 기타 둘 다 훌륭하지만 알 피트렐리 효과가 매우 컸다고 생각한다. 하지만 아쉽게도 cd에도 누가 몇 번 째 솔로를 치는 지 적혀지지 않았다. 드럼도 95부터 지금까지 세비티지 tso에서 계속 드럼을 치게 된다. 지금 생각해보면 그래도 참 기복없는 앨범만 내줘서 고마울 따름이다.   Mar 27, 2024

퀸 앨범 중 a night at opera와 더불어 제일 좋아하는 앨범이다. 메탈 팬도 들으면 생각보다 센 곡도 있다. 1LP 버전들은 길이 때문에 2, 5,10,11이 줄어서 들어갔다. 총 53분이면 음질에 영향받을 것 같지 않은데 말이다. 그래서인지 2015년에 2lp 버전도 발매했다. 1,12 진짜 좋고 12번 같은 경우에는 종종 락 보컬들이 커버하는 영상을 많이 볼 수 있다.   Apr 6, 2024
