This is a nearly perfect traditional heavy metal album this shit rocks Jun 14, 2025

Genuinly a 10/10 doom metal album its perfect in every way. Jun 15, 2025

Jun 16, 2025

Really, really good, although the next 4 are even better. "Forever" is one of the few songs that even brings me to tears, "Seasons Of Change" on the other hand has some really great lyrics. For power metal fans, the first two songs are real treats. "Babylon" and "Uncertainty" are fillers that the album would be complete without. But it's still great and the band's first masterpiece. 3 days ago

2 days ago

More commercial and simpler than "Rust In Peace", but the song material is of sufficient quality, and the production is brilliantly handled, making "Countdown..." a very strong and engaging album. Especially "Symphony..." and the title track raise the value of the album, being massive Megadeth classics. "Ashes In Your Mouth" also works, being musically quite close to the technical trash of the previous albums. A great album, one of the diamonds of the 1990s. Jun 14, 2025

Even more melodic than "Countdown..." but on the same level of quality. Dave proves that he is an extremely versatile composer, and that he is also capable of creating more than just extremely fast and technical trash. The A-side of the vinyl album (the first 6 songs) is really strong, and although the level drops a bit towards the end, the album is still brilliant and one of the best works of 1994. Jun 14, 2025

An extremely solid metallica album, infact an amazing album with fight fire with fire taking the cake for my favourite track off of this album, it is overrated though, Fade to black is meh to be honest but I liked the guitar work and Escape was meh same with call of ktulu Jun 15, 2025

A good album, no doubt. But nowhere near the brilliance of "'87". The song material is mostly good, but there are hardly any real star moments, making the whole thing a bit flat. But "Fool For Your Lovin'", the quality production and the brilliant David Coverdale make "Slip Of The Tongue" definitely worth your time. Jun 15, 2025

A perfect follow up to the last album but this one is way more epic. It feels like they really took their time here crafting a doomy gloomy atmosphere i love it. Jun 15, 2025
