CODEX 666 95/100주다스 전 앨범을 통틀어 롭의 보컬이 가장 절륜했던 앨범. sentinel 의 브레이킹 다운 구간 중 "Unmoved by this victory, And the seeds of death he's sown" 가사 부분에서 내지르는 롭의 보컬은 로니 제임스 디오와 더불어 헤비메탈 보컬계를 양분한 투탑답다. Mar 24, 2024

metalnrock 95/100아름다운 앨범이다. 8, 12번 특히 좋았다. 12번은 TSO에서도 많이 연주된다. 기타 둘 다 훌륭하지만 알 피트렐리 효과가 매우 컸다고 생각한다. 하지만 아쉽게도 cd에도 누가 몇 번 째 솔로를 치는 지 적혀지지 않았다. 드럼도 95부터 지금까지 세비티지 tso에서 계속 드럼을 치게 된다. 지금 생각해보면 그래도 참 기복없는 앨범만 내줘서 고마울 따름이다. Mar 27, 2024

metalnrock 100/1001,10 초명곡. 이런 식으로 스래쉬 하는 밴드는 그 당시에는 없었다. 미친듯이 달려주면서도 항상 즐거움을 주는 밴드이자 그들이 만든 최고작이라고 생각한다. 올드스쿨 스래쉬 명반 탑 10에 넉넉히 들어갈 것 같다. 들어도 들어도 질리는 게 아니라 들어도 들어도 찾게 되는 앨범. 미쳤다 그냥 Mar 30, 2024

metalnrock 95/100퀸 앨범 중 a night at opera와 더불어 제일 좋아하는 앨범이다. 메탈 팬도 들으면 생각보다 센 곡도 있다. 1LP 버전들은 길이 때문에 2, 5,10,11이 줄어서 들어갔다. 총 53분이면 음질에 영향받을 것 같지 않은데 말이다. 그래서인지 2015년에 2lp 버전도 발매했다. 1,12 진짜 좋고 12번 같은 경우에는 종종 락 보컬들이 커버하는 영상을 많이 볼 수 있다. Apr 6, 2024

Crimson아이똥 90/100아름답고 부드럽다. 복잡한 구성의 멜로디가 유려하게 이어져 빗물처럼 시냇물처럼 아름다운 흐름을 이루어내고 있다. 음질과 드럼의 아쉬움을 제외한다면 최고의 앨범이다. 88점. Apr 13, 2024
3 likes metalnrock 90/100블랙모어가 딥퍼플에서 나와서 좋은 것은 rainbow식 음악도 들을 수 있게 되었다는 점이다. 아주 아주 특이한 감성을 갖고 있는 사람이다. 아주 헤비한 락이면서도 부분 부분 포크적인 느낌도 있고 쓰잔함도 갖고 있다. 당대의 3대장하고는 다른 맛을 느낄 수 있다. 1,4,6이 대표곡. 3번은 quatarmass 9번은 yardbirds 커버곡이다. 희한하게 LP의 양면 라벨이 바뀐 것도 있다. 7 days ago
