근 몇년간 파워메탈 씬에서 가장 주목해야 할 밴드가 아닌가 싶다. 특유의 바이킹 메탈 정체성을 잃지 않으면서 Heavy Metal Viking에서 보여주는 글램 사운드, Flight of the Ravens의 스피디함이 돋보이며 특히 여성보컬 Ylva는 본작에서 완전히 만개했다. 발두르의 장례식에서 난나의 슬픔을 노래한 발라드인 12번 트랙 Nanna's Fate의 감성적인 보컬은 독보적이다.

Brothers of Metal na albume "Fimbulvinter" ponúkajú čiastočne Epický a hymnický Heavy/Power Metal s občasnými folkovými prvkami. Striedanie melodického ženského spevu, ktorý je podarenou časťou albumu s mužským mierne zachýpnutým, ale stále melodickým spevom pridáva piesňam na pestrosti.

만듦새가 상당히 좋은 북유럽 근본 파워메탈로, 파워메탈 명맥유지 수호자들이 세계 곳곳에 흩어진 바이킹의 후예들을 오딘의 이름 아래 결집시킵니다. 영화음악을 방불케하는 온갖 효과들의 웅장함과 신화속 거인들의 발걸음같은 드럼 밸런스가 압권입니다. 발키리보이스가 주도하는 질서를 따라 이그드라실의 수려한 자태에 도사린 이야기들을 만나러갑니다.
