So samey and average. Stuck in a Transilvanian hungry rut. Bear in mind, this is probably the world's top artist in recent years, so one meh album in 2001 becomes a bit of a pointless thing to complain about.

Huge step backwards for the band. All the songs here sound roughly the same, it's simple Black Metal, none of the great atmospheres they were building before. Somewhat baffling devolution.
