Baroness의 Red앨범과 Blue앨범의 쫀득한 슬러지메탈 스타일을 좋아하는 입장에서 이 앨범의 전반부를 처음 접했을때 이질적이어서 당혹스러웠다. 그러나 후반부 곡들의 타율이 상당하고 전반부의 말랑하고 멜로디컬한 진행도 듣다보니 좋았다.

A band I've loved for many years, with the excellent use they make of stoner & progressive metal. This album is a bit inconsistent, but that's just because the rather good songs have a noticeable gap to the absolute masterpieces. Riffage, composition, arrangement execution, guitar sound, & passion - any dimension you can measure music in tells you that this is great stuff.

Hey, don't trying to nitpicking the proggy aspect through this band. Just look at John Baizley's alurring cover art, and let your head to follow the very halcyon rhythm of it. Relax...just like staring at fireworks. I hope you wouldn't hate this.
