사람의 삶에 강한 느낌이 강한 블랙메틀,즉 살자블랙 밴드입니다.건조한 편이지만 둔탁하지 않으면서도 완만한 흐름이 전체적인 앨범의 성격을 말해줍니다.특히 결정적으로 읊조리는 보이스가 완만하게 앨범의 완급조절에 살짝 곁들인 보여집니다.기타의 역할이 전체적으로 크게 보이며,템포흐름이 반복적인 살자블랙의 전형적인 특징?에 충실하게 보여줍니다.이 밴드는 이 앨범 이후로 뭔가 노선이 흐트러진 듯한 방향을 보여주는게 아쉬웠습니다.

블랙에서 느리다는 미학을 끊임 없는 도전으로 유지 발전시켰기에 블랙의 수많은 다양미로서 확대 재생산의 발판이 되었던 것에 일익을 담당하였던 유명한 앨범

I found the melodies to be both gut-wrenching and heart-wrenching. The desperate abysmal guitar sounds make you shiver and ruminate about your pitiful life.

이제 와서 듣기엔 사실 좀 투박하다. 다른 자살블랙을 접한 이후에 이걸 들으면 실망할 지도 모르겠다. 하지만 개인적으론이 앨범은 오래된 친구같은 앨범이다. 음악 자체는 더이상 특별하지 않지만 그래도 들으면 굉장히 반갑고 처음 들었던 그 시절을 떠올리게 만드는, 그런 앨범이다.

우울 터지는 리프를 걸쭉하게 뽑아냈다. 그러나 자살블랙 특유의 필요 이상의 무한 반복 리프를 벗어나지 못해 결국 전체적인 완성도는 좀 떨어진다. 본인의 멍청한 이모스러운 감성을 건드려 (...) +5...

DSBM계 명작이라고 하는데 내귀엔 평작으로밖에 안들린다. 건조하기 짝이없는 기타....그리고 앨범커버는 퓨너럴의 Einar Andre Fredriksen이라고 한다.

지루하다는 평밖에없다니.... 한번들으면 잊지 못하는 중독성있는 리프와 분위기의 앨범이다. 자살블랙의 시초라고 볼수있지 않을까. DSBM계열에서는 엄청난 수작이라고 평할 수 있다.
