메탈 강국 스웨덴 출신인 A.C.T의 2집 Imaginary Friends 앨범으로, Melodic Progressive Metal/Rock 사운드를 들려준다. 테크니컬함은 그다지 강조되지 않고 보컬 등에서 팝적인 친숙한 분위기를 느낄 수 있는데, Dream Theater, Symphony X 등의 음악들과는 상당히 대조적인 성향을 보인다. 변칙적인 연주를 풍부한 멜로디와 결합시켜 기계적인 느낌은 거의 들지 않으며 매우 감성적으로 들린다. 프로그레시브 메탈이 AOR 및 Opera와 섞인 듯한 음악이다. A.C.T가 가장 영향을 받은 뮤지션이 Valensia라는 점을 상기해 보면 사운드의 토대를 알 수 있을 듯.
